This Privacy Policy explains how WhenamInot LLC ("WhenamInot," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit whenaminot.com (the "Site"), buy from us, or contact us. We keep it as plain as we can.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Order information: name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, and what you bought. If you personalize a product, this also includes the text and any photo you submit, which we share with Printify and the print provider to make your item. Payment details are entered into our payment processors' secure systems. We don't see or store your full card number.
  • Account information (if you create an account): name, email, password, order history, and saved addresses.
  • Customer support information: anything you send when you contact us, such as messages, order numbers, and photos of an order issue.
  • Marketing preferences: your email address, and your mobile number if you choose to sign up for text messages, when you sign up for updates.
  • Reviews and content: product reviews, photos, or comments you choose to submit.

Information collected automatically
When you browse the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect device and usage information through cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies. This includes IP address, browser type, device type, approximate location (from IP), time zone, pages and products viewed, search terms, referring site, and how you interact with the Site.

We don't collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, precise geolocation, health information, or financial account logins.

  • To process, print, ship, and deliver your order, and to send order confirmations and tracking
  • To provide customer support and handle claims, refunds, and disputes
  • To screen orders for fraud and keep the Site secure
  • To understand how the Site is used and improve it
  • To send marketing emails if you've opted in. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link in any email
  • To send marketing text messages only if you've given your express written consent, as required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Consent isn't a condition of purchase, message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out anytime by replying STOP
  • To show you ads for our products on other sites and apps, where permitted (see Section 5)
  • To comply with the law and protect our rights

3. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described here:

  • Shopify runs our online store, hosting, checkout, and customer accounts. Learn more at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
  • Printify and its print providers. Printify (our print-on-demand fulfillment partner) and the independent print facility that makes your item receive your name, shipping address, contact details, and order details so they can print and ship your order. Print providers may be located in the United States or in other countries. Learn more at https://printify.com/privacy-policy/.
  • Shipping carriers (such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL) receive your name, address, and package details to deliver your order.
  • Payment processors (Shopify Payments and any other payment options shown at checkout) process payments and screen for fraud.
  • Marketing, email, and analytics providers: Shopify's built-in analytics, email marketing services, text-message providers (for subscribers who opt in), product review tools, and advertising and social media platforms (such as Meta/Facebook & Instagram and Google) that use cookies or pixels to measure and show our ads. These providers receive device and usage information and, where applicable, contact details only as needed to provide their services to us.
  • Customer support tools: the email and messaging services we use to answer your questions.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers: if our business is sold or reorganized, customer information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar tools for these purposes:

  • Essential: to run the cart, checkout, login, and security. The Site can't work without these.
  • Analytics and performance: to understand how visitors use the Site.
  • Marketing: to measure and show ads for our products on other sites and apps.

You can manage non-essential cookies through our cookie banner and privacy preferences and through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may break parts of the Site. For the current list of cookies Shopify sets on stores, see https://www.shopify.com/legal/cookies.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Browsers' "Do Not Track" signals have no common standard, so we don't respond to them. We do treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of targeted-advertising "sharing" for that browser, where our tools support it.

5. Targeted advertising and your choices
We and our advertising partners may use cookies and pixels to show you WhenamInot ads on other sites and apps based on your activity on our Site. Under some state privacy laws, this may count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information. You can opt out at any time by:

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you, or get a copy of it;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information; and
  • opt out of marketing and of targeted advertising.

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and other states with privacy laws may have these rights by law. To make a request, email whenaminot@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy Request." We'll verify your identity (usually by matching your email and order details) and respond within the time the law requires, generally 45 days. You can use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of their authority. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject line. We won't discriminate against you for using your privacy rights.

Some information may need to be kept even after a deletion request, for example order and tax records we're legally required to retain, or information needed to handle a dispute.

7. How long we keep information
We keep order and transaction records as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes, generally up to 7 years. We keep marketing data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and other information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy.

8. Security
We use reputable platforms (Shopify, Printify, and established payment processors) and reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we'll notify you as required by law.

9. Children's privacy
The Site is meant for a general audience and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Purchases should be made by an adult. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

10. Visitors outside the United States
We're based in Arizona, USA, and currently ship only within the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information is processed in the United States and wherever our service providers operate. If you're in the EEA, UK, or another region with data-protection laws, we process your information as needed to fulfill your order (contract), with your consent (for example, marketing cookies), to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in running and securing our store. You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data and to object to processing, and you can lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above and, if the changes are significant, give you additional notice (for example, on the Site or by email).
